Support

Email support@flightframe.io and we’ll help. The answers to the most common questions are below.

Contact us

Write to support@flightframe.io. It helps if you include:

  • the email address you sign in with (for Sign in with Apple, this may be a private relay address);
  • your frame’s name, as shown in the app;
  • for a reservation, your reference from the confirmation email.

Please never send us your Wi-Fi password, your Apple or Google password, or your FlightFrame password.

Setting up a frame

You’ll need the FlightFrame app, your frame and an account to sign in with. If your frame isn’t online yet, you’ll also need the name and password of your home Wi-Fi.

  1. Turn your frame on and keep your iPhone close to it.
  2. Sign in to the app and add a frame. The app looks for your frame over Bluetooth. When it finds it, tap Set up.
  3. Scan the code on your frame’s screen. If the camera can’t read it, open Enter setup code and type it instead.
  4. If your frame is already online, tap Add to my frames. If not, tap Continue, choose your Wi-Fi from the networks your frame can see, or Other network, and enter the password. It goes straight to the frame over an encrypted Bluetooth connection.
  5. Once the frame is linked to your account, name it for the room it hangs in. Artwork arrives when the frame next refreshes.

If setup doesn’t work

  • The app uses Bluetooth to find your frame and the camera only to scan the code on its screen. If you declined either, allow it in the iPhone’s Settings under FlightFrame. Without Bluetooth, tap Scan code instead.
  • Check the Wi-Fi password. If setup stops, keep the frame nearby and start again.
  • Pairing codes on the frame expire after a while. The frame shows a new one by itself, or you can tap Get a new code in the app.
  • Without FlightFrame Plus, one frame can be linked to your account. Linking another needs Plus.

If your frame isn’t updating

  • The frame checks in on its own schedule, separately from the app: every five minutes, or every minute just after you send artwork or change its settings. A change can take a few minutes to appear.
  • In the frame’s settings, check that Collect new flights is on. While it’s off, no new flights are collected; your saved artwork stays available.
  • Check that the frame has a location. A frame without one doesn’t collect flights. When a frame changes hands, its previous location is deleted, so its new owner sets their own.
  • Connection & battery in the frame’s settings shows when the frame last checked in, its Wi-Fi signal and its battery.
  • Artwork appears when aircraft pass within the area your frame watches, so quiet skies mean fewer new prints.

FlightFrame Plus

Plus is billed by Apple, so it’s managed with your Apple Account.

Manage or cancel

  • On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose FlightFrame. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. Plus stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Plus members can also open Manage subscription in the app.

Restore or refund

  • If Plus doesn’t show after you’ve subscribed, open FlightFrame Plus in the app and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same FlightFrame account you subscribed with.
  • Refunds for Plus are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Account and tap Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, you’ll be asked to confirm with Apple first.

This permanently deletes your account and its data: your sign-in, Hangar, favourites, profile photo, aircraft, membership records and crash reports. Your frames are unlinked from your account, their location is deleted and their name is reset, and they can be set up again. It can’t be undone.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel FlightFrame Plus. Apple bills Plus, so cancel it with Apple first, as described above.

If you can no longer sign in to the app, email support@flightframe.io from the address linked to your account and we’ll help.
